Sodium Sulfate Usage
1. It is an important raw material for the manufacture of glass and paper.
2. It is most used in paper and cellulose industry, accounting forabout 70% of the total.
3. It is a component of a synthetic detergent which is a neutral salt to reduce surface tension and increase the solubility of the detergent.
4. It is also a thinner for dyes and an auxiliary for dyeing。
5.It is used as a dyeing agent for cotton fibers.
6. It is used as a retarder for direct dyeing of silk.
7. Used as a raw material for the manufacture of sodium sulfide, gypsum, sodium silicate and other chemical products.
8. It is an antidote to bariumand lead poisoning.
