- Fragrance Applications: Found in many natural essential oils, linalyl acetate is widely used in perfumes, cosmetics, and soaps. It’s a key ingredient for scents like lemon, orange leaf, lavender, jasmine, and orange blossom.
- Enhancing Aromas: It acts as a modifier for sweet and fresh floral fragrances such as ylang-ylang, enhancing fruity top notes. It’s also used in various floral and non-floral scents like cologne, rose musk, and more.
- Food Flavoring: Temporarily approved for use in China as a food flavoring, it’s used to create fruity flavors like pineapple, gooseberry, citrus, and peach. Typical dosages include:
